Multiplication Ministries: One-To-One Disciple-Making

Around The Corner Ministries is excited to announce a new partnership with Multiplication Ministries, a ministry that has been making disciples for over three decades! We believe that Jesus calls us to not only be spiritually mature disciples, but to be actively involved in making disciples as we share the gospel and train up new believers. We call this REACHING and TEACHING.

Our ministry has focused on producing resources that help churches, small groups and individuals be equipped to reach others with the gospel. We can now offer you the follow-up resource, One-To-One Discipleship, to complete the disciple-making cycle that Jesus taught us. Over a million copies have been sold of this excellent, biblically-sound workbook. It is the perfect partner for our Going Around The Corner Bible Study.

When used together in a one-on-one setting, these two resources provide a unique synergy of being discipled and becoming a disciple-maker.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The graphic above illustrates how these two resources can be used together. A mature believer, “Matt,” begins with Going Around The Corner Bible Study, learning to share his faith. In time, he leads his friend, “John,” to Christ. Together, they go through the One-To-One Discipleship workbook, establishing and grounding John in the foundations of his new faith. Now John is ready to share his faith, and works through the Going Around The Corner study as Matt models the same principles and encourages him through the study. John moves from being a disciple, to a confident, equipped disciple-maker himself, leading his neighbor “Phil,” to Christ, and disciples him personally. The cycle continues, multiplication occurs, and the kingdom grows as Jesus intended.

The Rooftop: Joining Jesus in His mission

Around The Corner Ministries is excited to partner with The Rooftop, a ministry that is preparing for, and longing to see the church experience a global awakening that will result in a movement of disciples making disciples among those that are beyond the walls of the church. The ministry offers city-wide “rooftop encounters” to pastors and ministry leaders to seek a fresh vision of God’s heart for the lost, as well as Neighborhood Rooftop Encounters via Zoom.

Working with John Whaley, Rooftop’s Senior North American Regional Pioneer, we can put together a unique vision and training event for your church that begins with a big vision of your city, community, or neighborhood, followed by on-the-group training and equipping to share the gospel where you live, work and play. All events and workshops (Rooftop and Around The Corner Ministries) are also offered via Zoom.
